Route and Rest Stop Info

Sept. 7 -- The turnaround point of the 50k route will be at Rotary Park near Steady Eddy's in Winters instead of Wolfskill School. This location will also serve as lunch for the 100k ride. Instead of following I-505 towards Winters, the route for the 100k will follow the 100 mile out of Elmira until Pleasants Valley where the 100k riders will head north towards Lake Solano, however, that rest stop will only serve the 100 mile riders.

Ride Date and Start/Finish Location

Date: Saturday October 16, 2010 Start/Finish will be at the Veterans' Memorial Center, 203 East Fourteenth Street (corner of E. 14th & B Sts.) in Davis.

Davis Bike Club ride information can be found here.

Radio Plans

As last year, we will use 2 meter repeaters as primary and secondary. In addition, there may be a 2m simplex remote available for infill coverage, and we may also be continuing our 900 MHz experiments from this year's DC.

APRS

APRS operations will take place on the YARS special event APRS system, not the national APRS channel due to congestion and coverage issues. Any ops that still use RELAY, WIDE or WIDE2-2 should switch their paths to the new standard of WIDE1-1,WIDE2-1.

Roster

This is the roster and shifts as the positions are being filled.
Due to the high number of returning ops, an (*) will denote those that have confirmed for this year.

SAG numbers are not necessarilty sequential. Because most SAG drivers work both the Foxy's Fall and the Davis Double Century, SAG numbers are kept the same for both events for simplicity.
