Start/Finish and Rest Stops

Start/Finsh will be at the Veterans' Memorial Center in Davis (203 E. 14th St.)

There are major changes to the rest stops. The number of rest stops has been reduced to seven, and most rest stops have moved to new locations. A description of the changes may be found on the 2022 Davis Double Century Route Description webpage.

Course

The two short course rides (100 mile & 45 mile) have been eliminated.

There are major changes to the first half of the 200 mile route. The most significant is that the course has been shifted over to ride up the west shore of Lake Berryessa before cutting over to Pope Valley. A description of the changes may be found on the 2022 Davis Double Century Route Description webpage.

Pre Ride Meeting

Thursday May 19 at 1900 hrs.
The pre-ride meeting will be held at the Parking Lot between the Senior Center and the county building to the south which is north of the Davis City Hall. City Hall is at the corner of Russell Blvd. and B Streets. Directions to City Hall can be found HERE.

Talk-in on the K6MVR repeater, 147.000 - 136.5. SAG boxes, info packets (shirts, maps, freq plan), and APRS trackers should be available. Any op not able to make it can make other arrangements or pick up their stuff at Net Control on event day.

Net Control Set Up

TBD - Game Room is unavailable. The 0400 set up will be in the main room morning of on the south side. We will be partitioned off with folding tables. Antennas will be outside the southwest double doors of the MPR.

Radio Plan

Net Control will be geared towards having enough ops to handle simultaneously 2-4 channels, minimizing the time needed for field units to get a response.

APRS

APRS will be on 144.390. Coverage will be spotty. No APRS computer at NC but turn it on if you have it. NC ops can check aprs.fi.

T-shirts

DBC is not giving riders or volunteers t-shirts this year. They can be pre-ordered for $10 by deadline 1 May by letting Dave KC6YFG know.
