No Buses This Year

The DC Committee this year has decided to not have a SAG bus sweeping the course from Lunch back to S/F.

***Pre Ride Meeting Location Changed***

Thursday May 18 at 1900 hrs. NOTE! Meeting Location Changed! The pre-ride meeting has been moved due to a large event being held in Community Park at the same time. The new meeting location is the Parking Lot behind City Hall, at the corner of Russell Blvd. and B Streets, about seven blocks south of the normal meeting location on B Street. Directions to City Hall can be found HERE.

Talk-in on 442.025 + pl 179.9. SAG boxes, info packets (shirts, maps, freq plan), should be available. Any op not able to make it can make other arrangements or pick up their stuff at net control on event day.

Route and Rest Stops ***Rest Stop and Route Changes***

This year two rest stops have been moved and the route has been changed. RS6/Big Canyon has been moved to Cobb Elementary, 15895 Hwy 175 requiring a major route change. RS 7/Resurrection has been moved down the road to the Lake/Colusa county line.

Radio Plans

Pretty much the same as last year. 440 for SAG, 2M for RS. Net Control will be geared towards having enough ops to handle simultaneously 2-4 channels, minimizing the time needed for field units to get a response.

APRS

APRS will be used again this year. A separate packet frequency with special event digipeaters located on the course and in the plane will be used. We do not use the national 144.390 frequency due to coverage and congestion issues. Net Control will be equipped to track APRS equipped units.

Roster

This is the roster and shifts as the positions are being filled.
Due to the high number of returning ops, an (*) will denote those that have confirmed for this year.
